Mainly trends in robotics are that: on one hand, robot application areas continue to be expanded, and its types continue to be increased; the other hand, the robot's performance continues to be improved and to be more intelligent1 . The article research a suitable home care robot, which joit the technology of mobile robot localization, speech recognition technology and communications technology, provides a simple and vital care services. The person who is not convenient to move, sent command by void, sunch as calling an ambulance and other rescue mission void, then the robot can make calls according to the void command, and tell rescuer geographic information according to the base station based positioning technology. The robot also has indoor mobile functions by indoor positioning.The article in-depth research on wireless positioning technology based on base station, and proposes a estimation positioning method of joit 2D angle/delay and polarization parameters of multi-path channel. The method estimates multiple channel parameters based on translation invariant features of ESPRIT algorithm, and increase channel estimation accuracy by constancy feature of angle/ time delay and polarization parameters. The method improves the channel estimation accuracy by proposing polarization sensitive array, and can be used for TDM A systems, also can effectively achieve three-dimensional positioning by joit parameters. To help provide a more accurate of geographic information, so that it is more intelligent to rescue.Meanwhile, the indoor positioning technology based on ultrasonic receiving sensor array has been studied. On indoor positioning technolog, the article proposed a joint estimation method base on two-dimensional angle and delay, which was applied to indoor mobile robot pose positioning. Since this method will be extended to two-dimensional, and can estimate the elevation and azimuth, so the method can effectively locate the mobile robot. As the ultrasonic sensor can work in the dark, so when the object is not resolved within the field of vision is very dark or light, the failure of the problem of traditional visual navigation.This article studied the two positioning technology, and proposed to build the family a viable service robot design, and HTK-based speech recognition research, describes the recognition principle and software architecture of Hidden Markov Model Tool (HTK), and ported the HTK-based speech recognition system to embedded Linux systems, and design speech recognition applications based on ATK.
