High power laser field fiber amplifier is currently one of more active research directions. Fiber amplifiers in volume, weight, efficiency, structure are more obvious advantages than other solid laser in industrial, medical, scientific research, military. Fiber amplifiers show attractive prospect. In industrial processes , high-power fiber laser was quite seriously in shipbuilding, automobile manufacture. In medicine, several watt level narrowband ytterbium-doped amplifiers are used to build medicine imaging for lower density biological tissue like lung by spinning polarization helium. In defense of military , due to the advantage of volume, beam quality and efficiency, pulse fiber amplifiers are important in photoelectric warfare, laser target direction and laser lidar.Classify the amplifier, then review the computer simulation of optical fiber amplifier. It shows:①studying steady-state model simulation is more extensive in the literature;②the research of dynamic model simulation has increasingly become a focus. But the research based on the weak feedback study of Yb amplifier is less. For this, has carried on the preliminary experimental studies, this paper aims at theory simulation experiment results. Analysing simulation of domestic and overseas, base on other research theory, study output characteristics of ytterbium-doped amplifiers on weak feedback environment. Based on the theory builds model, analyses the steady-state equation and dynamic equation and arithmetic: Fourth-order Runge-Kutta and finite element method.Through the computer programming , consider a continuous signal and the existence of weak feedback conditions in amplifier , the higher the pump power, the more level particle consume by after boosting signals in the weak feedback environment. As the fiber length increases , a positive signal output power reduce. Pulse signal of lower duty cycle enters into the fiber, consider the existence of weak feedback conditions in amplifier, due to pulse interval time is longer, it can cause ASE accumulation, produce parasitic blaster and the small pulse in addition signal light strengths. The simulation results are very good verify the results of the experiment, the optimization for the practical application amplifier device select good guidance function.Resrarch charateristics of leak power in Mach-Zehnder Erbium-doped fiber laser by experiments and simulation, based on the theory of passive control, Characteristics of leak power mix theory simulation results, Research on characteristics of leak power opens out self-organization mechanism in Mach-Zehnder compound cavity.
