The Application Of Association Rules Mining In Library Management

With the rapid development of science and technology, the degree of the network and information is increasing. People's requirement for the library to provide information ability, service breadth and depth increases. Now, with the data base management system is applied in libraries, almost all universities have adopted database technology on library management, in which a large amount of data information is stored. How to find the value of the information implicated in these data, discover readers interests, find out the association rules of borrowing and reading, provide a more personalized service for readers, and give scientific management recommendations for the library, is a problem which library personnel have to deal with.Based on the introduction of the data mining technology development, and the study of association rules mining of the theory and method, this article gives the deep analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of the previous methods. The Apriori algorithm was improved and optimized, and using the algorithm to analysize the library's daily data mining; The paper also introduces and analysizes common data mining softwares,Choosing SPSS to analysize relevant mining towards library daily data, and found some correlations of datas. Through the analysis, put forward decision-making reference to the future library management, and also give some advice for the development direction of library.
