In our age, with the development of technology, the growing increase in the degree of automation in social life, people have been eager to create a machine that can be as to the people from the heavy, boring activities freed. Although the robot's abilities are limited, but some in some areas can be achieved, and it is developing rapidly, and start the production and life of human in all aspects of the increasing influence. Cleaning robot collection of multi disciplinary technology, such as sensor technology, computer technology, electronics, automatic control technology and so on, so cleaning robot could very well reflect the performance of the current developments in these disciplines. In this paper, based on ARM Linux system development platform, the main design and research of the cleaning robot's human machine interface, the entire regional coverage cleaning robot path planning algorithms and wireless communication modules, the main work is as follows:1. Based on ARM9 Linux system platform, Qt Creator to design software for the interface, plan and design human machine interface of cleaning robot in the Linux system;2. This article on the full regional coverage cleaning robot path planning to do the analysis and research, given the walking strategy based on border and traversal algorithm walking path planning for the round trip all regional coverage, and the simulation proved that the path planning method can achieve better effect;3. In this paper, use the wireless communication module (nRF24L01) to achieve clean robot remote control and data transfer, and develop a communication protocol;4. Sum up the main work of this paper and conclusions and future development in this field were discussed.
