The background of robot prosthesis researching and the intelligential control system are demonstrated in this dissertation. It's also introduced an intelligential method about man-machine dialogue-the speech recognition control. This thesis introduces the development situation in the world and the base knowledge of speech recognition control. The important point in the base knowledge of speech and the knowledge of compress speech application about SPCE061A are discussed in this dissertation. We also introduce the frame of the robot prosthesis.Then, in order to know the speech recognition the method of how to extract the speech character the MFCC and the LPCC are demonstrated, which are the two most important feature parameters in speech recognition. The DTW algorithm of speech recognition is discussed in this paper. This algorithm adapts to use in the small vocabulary and speaker dependent person in speech recognition. The command of robot prosthesis adopts this method.Finally, we underline the hardware design and the software design about this system. The hardware design contains SPCE061A, RS232, keyboard, C8051F020, and so on. The software design contains two parts, one is SPCE061A's software design in the UNSP, the other is c8051's soft ware in the silicon Laboratories. The speech recognition software program, the RS232 program and the control program by C8051 are realized in this paper. The SPCE061A has excellent speech recognition function, and the C8051 has excellent control function. We make the two excellent merits integrate together in this control system in order to control the intelligent robot prosthesis in the best way.This control system has high recognition ratio, stable, fast reaction, intelligent and easy scalability by analysis the experimental database. The intelligent robot prosthesis which is designed in this discourse has a high market value. It can content different custom's needs.
