The Design And Implement Of Word Document Display System On VxWorks

As a kind of realtime operating system developped by Wind River Co., VxWorks is used widely in military engineering fields such as Space, Aviation, Shipping and some realtime cruetrully field. With the spreading used of Vx Works, some desktop OS-based conventional office softwares are needed imminently. There are plenty of historical documents which are based on Microsoft DOC standard, at the same time, VxWorks can hardly support any office software especially Microsoft word. It is a important research to design a kind of software to run office document file complicated programs on VxWorks.Firstly, this thesis uses the XML file as the communicating interface between Windows Word adn VxWorks Text Display program, according to user needs, customed XML document format storage need word document content and property, implement the heterogeneous data transmission; Secondly, on Windows, word document content and property are extracted through Word application redevelop interface, and stored in XML files according to the XML formats, then transfered to VxWorks through networks; Lastly, on VxWorks, applications based on QT use the dom tree way to resolve the XML files downloaded from the networks, redisplay the Word document contents according to the data resolved. For windows starting interflow with vxworks software technology requirements, the key points are those pictures and tables rebuilding method.By the example of the test, the mothed which is proposed by this thesis, can better display Microsoft word document information on VxWorks system, has better practicability and scalability.
