With the development of the technique of sensor, communication and signal processing, people pay more and more attention to the technique of the data fusion on multi-sensor. The data fusing has been used into a wide range of applications. As xx project to be the background, the research of the data fusion technique on the multi-platform positioning system was done in this dissertation.xx multi-platform positioning system has the possibility to do the noise positive position as well as the activity pulse position. It can be used in positioning the coordinate of target falling down into the sea as well as the trace of the target in the sea. In order to satisfy the function and design requirement of the system, there are two kinds of target signals, which are called target azimuth and target time pulse, detected by the sensors. Based on the analyzing of the definition, classification, technique and advantages of the data fusion technique, some data fusion technologies, such as data standardization, information fusion filtering, spatial and temporal metadata for multi-sensor fusion, expert system for pulse selection and the weighted fusion the results of the positioning were decided to be used.Additionally, because of the data redundancy in the multi-platform position system, the information of azimuth and time pulse was combined in this thesis. Through analyzing the model of the bi-sensor, a new kind of arithmetic called the azimuth and time-delay positioning arithmetic was designed and educed. Based on the Cramer lower bound of detection errors of azimuth and the time pulse, simulation and validation for this kind of arithmetic using the data got from the experiments was done. The positioning precision of the azimuth and time-delay algorithm which satisfied the requirement of the system was shown in the result That means the new arithmetic can be used into a real project in the future.In this paper, data fusion technique for the multi-platform positioning system was done in the research and exploration. The correctness of the fusion theory was verified using computer simulation and real experimental took in SongHua Lake in JiLin province.
