Nowadays, FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) sensor becomes one of the attention focuses in the field of sensor technology. Having resistance to electromagnetic interference, corrosion resistance, reuse, high reliability, high sensitivity and many other advantages, FBG is gradually applied extensively in the many fields. This paper introduced the method of tunable Fabry-Perot filter demodulation technology, and designed a FBG sensor embedded demodulation system based on ARM9,mainly includes of following several aspects:Reviewed the recent developments in the technologies of FBG sensor and status quo, and suggested improvement about FBG sensor demodulation system for the current technical problems.After explained the basic principle of FBG sensors, the dissertation proposed a FBG sensor demodulation system based on ARM9 and tunable F-P filter. In addition, the tunable F-P filter calibration problem is analyzed.Because the hardware of system is mainly constituted by the ARM9 chip, so this dissertation designed and expanded the discussion about the hardware around the ARM9 core.This dissertation used Linux as the software platform of system. The steps for how to build the software platform of system is introduced in detail, including: the establishment of host development environment, the steps of U-Boot transplantation, the process of transplantation and cut of Linux kernel and the steps of the root file system implementation.Designed the essential function module in the embedded system, and designed the software run on PC by Labview. In addition, described the IIR digital filter and the polynomial fitting algorithm in Labview. Finally, system tests verified that the demodulation system can meet the design requirements.
