Self-examination College of Ningbo University of Technology currently has more than 3,000 students, It has developed into relatively large school-running scale. However, many campuses, mass students, various learning forms, and other issues which is the bottleneck to the sound advancement of the college have emerged, making the management of students is becoming increasingly complex. In the routine management of college, information management is particularly important. Now, college is in the stage of rapid development, but the currentinformation collection and management of student work is still in the manual and semi-manual status, which caused the school management, management efficiency and management level are unable to adapt to the rapid development of school size. It is urgent to'set up automatic information management system for the college, based on the rich sources and sophisticated internet technology at present.ASP-based B/S architecture of Web development model is quite mature, This thesis designs an information management system for Self-examination College of Ningbo University of Technology. In use of softwares such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, SQLServer 2005 and IIS etc., this thesis design and implement the system database and each module. System uses ADO database access technology implement the Web-based information management of Self-examination college students, involved in basic information input, query, retrieval and other functions.The information management system for the college is designed on the concept of integrating web service technologies and information management system and can offer meaningful experience for the research and development of the information management system in other departments.
