This paper considers the problem of global finite-time output stabilization for a class of nonlinear systems and practical output tracking of nonlinear systems. Based on the existing literature, some study has been done in this paper on output feedback of the nonlinear systems.Firstly, the note studys the problem of global finite-time output stabilization for a class of nonlinear planar systems with uncontrollable linearization. Using extending the adding a power integrator technique and Lyapunov stability theory, we render the closed-loop system global finite-time stabilization by choosing designing a exact observer.Secondly, we study the practical output tracking of nonlinear systems. Based on Backstepping method, the feedback controller is explicitly designed to make the output of the closed-loop system track a prescribed reference signal.Finally, we give a summary of the above problem of output feedback for nonlinear systems.
