Automatic Identification Technology is an emerging technologies that was borned under the support of computer technology, optical technology, communication technology and information technology,it grows up with the processes of economic and technological globalization, internationalization of production.Automatic Identification Technology has been widely used in many fields,such as commercial trade, library and information science and transportation and so on.Speech recognition technology which makes machine understand your speeches and do the work according to you is a branch of Automatic Identification Technology. Speech Recognition is an interdiscipline subject,and now it's becoming the pivotal technology of HMI (Human Machine Interface) in the field of information processing technology.By combing with speech synthesis technologies, Speech Recognition Technology enables us to get rid of the keyboards,operate machines just by voice commands. With the development of digital signal processing technology and the research of phonetics goes further in recent years,Speech recognation is gradually out of labs,and go to serve the society. Especially,the small table isolated word speech recognition technology has became more and more mature,it has gradually began to be used in some occasions that does not require strictly rate of recognition,such as intelligent toys,home appliances and so on.In some occasions which has strictly requirement of recognitional rate,it performs not very well enough.For that reason, I designed this system for which I choose ARM9 as the processor,MFCC as the features parameter of a speech and DTW as an Methods to do pattern matching.The result of experiments showed that it can improve the rate of recognating and Real-time performance.Firstly,I introduced the principle of speech recognation and the system components. Secondly, explained the steps of speech recognition technology in detail,at last,introduced the hardware and software.
