Wireless sensor coverage protocol is an important part in the field of wireless sensor networks, densely deployed nodes, will result in excessive energy consumption and large amounts of data redundancy, coverage control in wireless sensor networks can optimize the allocation of space resources, better completed the task of environmental awareness, information access and efficient transmission. Therefore, this article first reviews the status of network coverage control, then propose an energy-balanced coverage protocol and a connectivity coverage algorithm based on location-unaware.Nodes densely deployed in the network on the one hand improve the effectiveness and accuracy of information collect, On the other hand increased the unnecessary energy consumption and interference between nodes. In this paper, on the basis of the protocol have been proposed, by setting reference nodes, introducing virtual coordinates; discussing the required density of work nodes, constructing temporary set, selecting the appropriate number of working nodes, then giving a location-unaware and energy-balanced coverage algorithm. Simulation results show that the protocol not only have good coverage quality, but also effectively reduce the node energy consumption, extend the network lifetime.For the problem that nodes required to connect and transfer information with each other, based on the existing coverage set, residual energy, distance and other factors were weighted to construct the best wake-up nodes, by adding the best wake-up nodes gradually reduce the number of the basic connected coverage set, lead to the network's connectivity. The algorithm using the virtual coordinates, without building the path to sink nodes, reducing the number of required nodes, the weighted residual energy strengthened the energy-balance of the network. Simulation has compared the proposed algorithm with existing algorithms on coverage, connectivity, energy consumption and so on, verify the validity of this algorithm.
