The Flow Emulation Of ATM

Siness of the network forms a lot of different business demands progressively, different serviceuser colony of quality requirement .Such as government, enterprise, the school, the individuals and so on. Different user network of colony flow size different, and by count multiple operation way to reply spending share the width. How to estimate different network flow and design network width become an outstanding problem of network planning of user. This article gives different user groups to design the reasonable share of total bandwidth, and it is belonged to the category of the network planning, because network has been no specific set up, so the bandwidth of the prediction is based on many assumptions, make a rough estimate bandwidth, the results presented to network designers and provides a reference to the network of the final design .In the network planning, according to the performance and the cost to choose the topology structure and technology. We have to know all kinds of candidates, the performance analysis and forecast net. In this respect ,we can use analytical, experience, experiment, computer simulation and so on . The computer simulation have prominent advantages,and the performance of the network has become the main method of analysis and prediction. So this paper uses the computer simulation method, to plan for the total bandwidth of the network.A key problem to seek is to compromise between two goals conflicting each other, One is to guarantee the service quality( QOS) , and the other is to make sure that the maximum use of network width .In this paper, first, the basic concept and the technology ATM are introduced, and then is the computer simulation and its role in the network planning, the artical uses simulation model and simulation algorithm of ATM technology for the general abstract overall. The simulation algorithm is realized by VISUAL C++ 6.0. As it was given in the article for the software realization. The artical includes interface design, simulation programming and database processing .In the introduction of the traffic prediction of the simulation model of the ATM network, it mainly introduces the overall design ideas of the main design model , the main elements of the system and the relevant web business requirement model and the statistic method used in this emulation system .This text combines the ATM technology classification of the network and the mechanismof the network flow control , using the emulation method of the computer to design a model that can predict user's flow of network and estimate the width needed for user's colony . And I have realized the algorithm of this model among VISUAL C + +6.0 development environments.While in the prediction of the flow of the network and estimating the width . There are some assumptions, particularly there are three kinds of colonies of user among them : Small and medium-sized enterprises, the middle and primary schools and residential quarter. Different types of business, suppose for different queueing theory model, to classify according to one's own characteristic and set them among the corresponding model .
