With the large-scale development of TD-SCDMA network,Datatraffic with a sharp increase.The existing transmission network SDH is aserious waste of bandwidth to carry voice traffic design is not conduciveto great efforts to develop data services. Therefore, how to combine theexisting transmission network, to build a new generation of transmissionnetwork for data service development is imminent. PTN packet transportnetwork, it is the basis of inherited SDH advantages, the integration ofpacket technology, mainly for the transmission of data services and theservice is to solve the bandwidth bottleneck first.This paper first analyzes the mobile transmission network presentsituation and the main problems. Then PTN technology and features forthe introduction of the PTN network carrying business segments. Thebandwidth requirements of each business of a unified planning, andprovide a scientific basis for post-construction projects.The paper focuses on the building of PTN strategy, a detailed study,through a reasonable program, select, combined with the actual situationof the transmission network, an efficient construction of a boutique PTNnetwork to provide network support, the real business development inShanghai Mobile. Construction projects to the overall deployment of theentire network to form a core layer, convergence layer and access layer,three-tier hierarchical model. The general idea of the construction istop-down, fast layout, form a stable framework to meet the rapid openingof the business. The construction of the core layer to co-ordinate thenetwork security, simplicity, stability principle;Convergence layer andaccess layer construction to develop different principles from the twoaspects of the equipment and fiber optic cable lines.Other,simpledescription of the new PTN network with the existing transmissionnetwork:SDH networks will coexist for a long time,gradually replace and making the original share of the SDH equipment is reduced;IP WDM andPON network relationships with each other independent network,nothingin common, interdependent.Finally, according to the deployment of two cases of PTN networkshave a good supporting role in business development, and achieved goodeconomic benefits. Through various testing and evaluation, the new PTNindicators are standards to meet the demand for large amounts of datauploaded. Synchronization TD encountered in engineering, SDH andPTN plans for the building, carrying the CES business expansion wereanalyzed and summarized, and proposed solution.
