Terahertz(THz)imagingtechnologyisarisingimagingtechnique. AsweknowTHzradiation has some special characteristics. THz imaging also has some notable advantagein many research fields, because it works in the region of THz. It will have more effectin our daily life. THz imaging can penetrate the most of the dielectric materials such asplastic, chinaware, paperandsoon. Andmanydangersincludeexplosivesanddrugshavefingerprint absorption lines in the terahertz range. Therefore, THz imaging is an effectivewayindetectingthedangers. THzimagingisoneofthemostpromisingapplicationsintheTHz science and technology, it can be widely used in fundamental researches, medicinalapplications and military affairs.The most popular method of terahertz generation and detection is summarized. TheTHz is generated by many different ways, and we choose the THz generated by air ion-izing in two-color laser fields as the THz source for the real time imaging. We do someresearches in the system of THz imaging, make a summary of the process of the exper-iment, and show a part of the experiment results. The problem to reduce the THz beamdiameter is solved, and the intensity of THz in unit area become stronger. In the experi-ment, we reduce the background noise, and obtain the THz images of moving object.
