AESS plays an important role in ensuring flight safety, it includes Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System,S mode transponder,Terrain Awareness Warning System and WXR. In order to verify the algorithms developed for AESS, We establish AESS digital simulation system. The thesis centers on the issue how to further improve AESS ground test environment and builds scene generation module oriented to AESS simulation system. The goal of scene generation module is to simulate cockpit display environment closely related to AESS on ground, including generate scene inside and outside the cockpit. The main research work is as follow:(1)Realize the scene inside the cockpit. It is used to exhibit the output of TCAS,TAWS,WXR and other important flight data such as attitude angle,speed,altitude to user in a graphic form, the former is displayed on Navigation Display(ND), the latter otherwise is displayed on Primary Flight Display(PFD).(2)Realize the scene outside the cockpit. It is used to provide user with 3D virtual scene outside the cockpit during "flight", including terrain,sky,intrusive airplane and special weather effect, the scene is displayed on multi-monitor.(3)Aiming at the new display technique of superposing EVS image on SVS image on PFD and intending to realize the technique in future, we study on EVS vision enhancement algorithm applied under low visibility weather condition such as fog and propose a simple but effective method to remove haze from a single input image based on exposure fusion. Experiments show that the scene generation module runs smoothly and FPS can maintain at 30. Besides, experiments on foggy images acquired from the cockpit indicate that the proposed dehazing algorithm has potential to be applied in EVS.
