With the development and promotion of RFID technology, there already exsit many projects and fields developed based on RFID. EPC network uses RFID technology into global supply chain, making the global query and traceability of product information possible. Information service, which is a core module of EPC network, plays an important part in capturing, storing and querying vast amounts of information in supply chains. However, research of information service is not mature enough to adapt to real enterprise applications till now. Diverse enterprises'demands determine that information service must be highly extensible and flexible. This paper focuses on these issues and makes a study of information service query mechanism in EPC network.In this paper, based on in-depth research and analysis on the information service query mechanism in EPC network, we design and develop a universal, flexible and efficient EPC IS query mechanism. This paper focuses on areas of the extensible information service data model, the efficient data transportation mechanism based on AMF protocol and the event data query algorithm.This paper first introduces the background and current situation of information service query mechanism in EPC network, and then introduces the contents of study and innovation points of this paper. Secondly, this paper introduces some current mainstream information service query mechanism and their architecture to analyze their characteristics and the common shortcomings, after that we put forward the research idea of this paper, and introduce some related works. Then this paper shows the architecture of information service query module and the key technologies of each component in detail, including extensible data model, data transmission protocol, event data query algorithm, query access control and so on. After that we describe the concrete implementation of the various parts of the system and make a demonstration of system running. At the end of the paper, we summarize the entire paper, look forward to the prospect of information service query mechanism and propose some future works.
