unknown multi-frequency weak signal from strong background noise,which is quite a significant issue.In the system of unknown multi-frequency weak signal detection, the scanning frequency module and the signal acquisition and processing module are the core of the system.The main work of this paper is to based on the uknown multi-frequency weak signal detection system, design the scan conversion module is and FPGA-based signal acquisition and processing module.This paper first made the overall description of unknown multi-frequency signal detection system, upon which is the detailed research and design of two core module: the scanning frequency module and the signal acquisition and processing module. As for the scanning frequency module, a kind of Superheterodyne scanning frequency module is designed in order to change the muti-frequency signal to a consistant modest-frequency signal, where MAX3542 producted by MAXIM is used as the tuning chip, followed by a detailed introduction of FPGA-based signal acquisition and processing system, which includ the design of AD converter module and FPGA control module. This designing adopts the USB bus interface technology.After introducing the function and features of the USB interface chip CY7C68013A, a description of the firmware and driver development is followed. During the discussion of key issues, on the core issues of the modular design, including issues dealing with asynchronous clock domains, the source synchronous technology and high-speed signal integrity issue of electronic system in-depth analysis and discussion. For signal integrity issue, this paper give solutions and simulation results by the specific EDA software. Finally, the design of the scanning frequency of the signal acquisition and processing module and the module was tested and the results of the test were discussed. The results showing that scan conversion module and the signal acquisition and processing module are able to meet the extraction of the the unknown multi-frequency weak signal from strong background noise.
