Grid technology is a developed mature technology for many years, and it's core technologies include high-performance grid scheduling technology, high-throughput resource management, performance data collection, analysis and visualization. When the client uses grid software, the software vendor's technical support played an active role in technology acquisition is an important way for our customers.This thesis starts with the practical problems from the user to investigate the user's cluster environment and analyse configuration issues of resource allocation in which there are resource competition, scheduling policy configuration complexity, conflict between preemptive scheduling and the constraints policy. In the preemptive scheduling policy, priority-setting lacks of management. In the analysis of customer habits of sending jobs, set forth the necessity to set priorities and manage priorities, and on the basis of analysis, propose Priority matrix analysis method based on the value and cost to set priorities. Existing scheduling policies of LSF have been applied in the solution and propose user-based fairshare scheduling and queue-based fairshare scheduling and then give a detailed description and analysis of the two configuration methods. According to customer demand, also develope a preempt-waiting-time scheduling strategy that is the new feature for LSF and need to increase the function of the original LSF, which can add a new parameter to achieve preempt-waiting-time scheduling strategy and to be given a description of its functions of Design and Implementation in detail. Finally, it is given that the functional testing and results of three solutions, in which it is given detailed unit test results of preempt-wait-time scheduling. Three solutions reflects the content of technical support, which shows that technical support is an important way of technology acquisition for the user. After internal testing of three scheduling strategies, they can meet the needs of users. Though the users feedback, three solutions are very good application and the value of the services of professional and technical support is affirmative.
