Value-Oriented Service Model Analysis And Service Composition Method

With the rise and development of modern service industry, more and more service system is being designed and implemented, while the design of service system depends on study of service moeling method and service engineering.The traditional service engineering method primarily consider of service function and service quality, without the value produced from service. Harbin Institute of Technology proposed"Value-Aware Service Engineering & Methodology". It's a method which awares value in all server life cycle and achieve expected value for all participants. The customers propose their expected values when the service system be designed, the service model support to achieve these values and build a service system by compose some proper service components together.The research in this paper is part of VASEM, including the classification of value, how to measure the value, the relationship between value model and service model, value-oriented service model analysis method, service composition in value constraints and developing some tools to realize and verify these theories before. The prerequisites of our research is having been finished the work of building service model, value model and marking value in service model. At first, it will introduce some basic concepts in service. It analyzes the concept and property of service elements. Then it focuses on the property of service value, including the classification of value and defination, and the most important part: how to measure the value. It works on how to mark the value into service model beyond service value annocation. Then it verifies these these theories by case. This part in research is the base and precondition of work later.Then, it will study the value-oriented methods of analyzing model. It introduces three diffent aspects of analyzing elements in service model: analyzing sensitive points, analyzing tradeoff points, analyzing key points and defines the three kinds of points. It shows us the input and description of three algorithms and analyze our case with it.Next, it focus on the service composition method on value constraints. It describes the service composition problem in this paper, point out that it's a method which is greedy in whole and be best in part. It studies the most important part of this method: the rules to sort these service elements. It describes the algorithm and analyzes the case.At last, basing on the theories we study before, it develop a set of support tools, which can support the work of building service model and value model, the work of value annotation, the work of analyzing servie model and service composition.
