Research And Application Of Human Tracking Algorithm Based On HOG

In recent years, with the development of the multimedia teaching and the popularity of the open university courses, human target tracking in the classroom is urgently needed. So, people pay more and more attention to target tracking technology.In this paper, we present an object tracking algorithm for teaching video shoot. Target tracking technology is used for the video image processing analysis. By extracting moving object, we can get information in the subsequent frames to determine the trajectory of moving objects.This paper describes the body as an object using HOG features, and we use these features to train the SVM classifier. Then we use optical flow tracking algorithm based on corner points of the contour for tracking. Finally, Kalman filter is regard as the predictor to predict the size and location of the object. Also, the size and location of track window is real-time updated.A large number of experiments are made both of the test situation and application scenes. The analysis about these tests shows that, the algorithm applied in the task is available to some extent.
