GSM And CDMA Dual-mode Systems

As the most popular communication facility, the cell phone has already become a necessary in people's daily life. It has strongly developed in the past few years. The GSM and CDMA dual-mode system develops under this background. It designs based on user's needs which bring convenience to people.But, GSM-CDMA dual mode system is made of two pieces of CPU work together, so in order to ensure the stability and reliability of dual mode system.The communication between two pieces of CPU needs to be solved. The content of this paper is to research the stability and reliability of the dual mode system. A kind of system structure of the phone is proposed, and software scheme about GSM and CDMA dual-mode system which base on MTK platform is designed.The main work of this paper is: Based on the basic of the MT6253, the dual-mode hardware architecture of MT6253 and QSC1100 is realized. The process of interaction and switch solutions are realized. In order to realize the low-power of the system which can sleep when the system has nothing to do and wake when the system has something to do. A function is designed which can transform the command between sending and receiving AT command.Then, Make detail test to test the communication of the dual mode system under different conditions. The result is the communication of the dual mode system is reliable and stable. At the same time, make detail test to test the power consumption of the dual mode system under different conditions. Standby current is between 1.3ma and 1.5ma. The result is the dual mode system reaches the low power requirements.Finally, this paper draws the conclusion, the dual mode system reach the design requirements. The communication of dual mode system is reliability and stability and the power consumption of the dual mode system is low power.
