In the rapid developing modern society, with the increase of all kinds of trade, manufacturing companies and commercial enterprises have come to realize the logistics outsourcing is to reduce cost and improve the efficiency of the inevitable choice. The most important feature of Logistics Management is a customer-centric, built around the customer in the form of a variety of business process support, logistics management system to support sharing of customer data in various forms to improve efficiency, control the whole process of circulation of goods, provide a complete flow line items that allows customers to track orders at any time. The main work of this thesis is to design and implement an extended information system, the platform of logistics order management system. The system includes many functions such as order management, order delivery management, order status inquiry, order exception handling and so on. It processes all aspects of logistics in the process of information and intelligent data collection, by modern information technology for analysis and processing, in order to achieve high efficiency and high quality, thus reducing logistics costs and management costs. This article builds a system with high availability and high reliability, based on J2EE environment and a top-down master plan, application development from the bottom up stragety. After analysis the requirements and feasibility of the system in details, this thesis design the structure of the system and build every module, then design a logic database based on ER graph, and finally design every function based on UML and flow chart. The system is implemented using ligh weight J2EE framework, Spring, Strusts and Hibernate. This thesis introduces the process of building logistics order management system, from system structure, design of function module, use case of system function and design of database. It takes advantage of several techniques to guarantee high availability of system and high reliability of data.
