Nowadays, the image has become a main medium for information exchange. Sometimes the pretreatment is needed before sharing images with some specific objectives, and to remove objects from the target image is a common image pretreatment job.In this paper , some image processing algorithms are widely used to solve the simple digital mark erasing problem .As a result , a set of basic erasing algorithms are designed and a basic digital mark cleaning system are released. This prototype system mainly supports transparent color digital mark which is added by mixed color algorithm. The system gets the position information of the digital mark with the help of the human-computer interaction process, and then run the related algorithm to erase the mark.This paper offers some information about the common methods and research status in related fields such as image inpainting, image restoration, edge detection and color space .Some develop environment information are also introduced in brief. Then detailed introductions about two algorithms which are designed to erase the simple digital mark are given, including the introduction about theories and algorithm processes. The monochromatic transparent digital marks removal algorithm firstly analyzes information that created when adding digital mark to images, then it creates a simple degradation model and restores the original image by inverse operation; The gradual color digital mark removal algorithm mainly use the method of constructing optimal texture blocks for image inpainting. When the introduction about the algorithm is accomplished the detailed description of system engineering realization is given .Some simple tests listed at the end of the paper proves that this tool has the basic ability to erase the simple transparent digital mark in the target image.
