| Heart is one of the most important organs to our human beings. However, heart disease is becoming a threat to our health. The mechanism of cardiac pump function is much involved with myocardium fiber's systolic and diastolic force. The changes of myocardium fiber structure will lead to arrhythmia and heart failure and other diseases. If things go on like this, it will cause more serious heart diseases. Therefore, knowing the structure of myocardium fiber and building the elaborate model of myocardium fiber make an important role in researching on the heart structure and heart diseases'diagnosis and treatment.Diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging (DT-MRI) is a new medical imaging technigue recently. It uses nuclear magnetic resonance to mesasure water molecules diffusion at multi-directions at same time, and can study the living tissue's fine structure. DT-MRI has the exceptional advantage in the field of studying on living tissue'fine structure. DT-MRI has high value in diagnosing of ventricular remodeling after acute myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy and arrhythmia.DT-MRI is already been used in the field of white matter fiber reconstruction. But in the field of myocardium fiber reconstruction is just in the initial stages. The documents published are not as much as white matter fiber. And there is lacking of systematic research in this field. So, this paper use the canines'myocardium fiber data based on DT-MRI to visualize myocardium fiber's 3D structure. The main research contents are as follows:(1) This paper uses threshold filter, median filter and neighborhood averaging to eliminate noise from the raw DT-MRI data. From the result of visualization, visualizing the data without the noise can avoid the track offset caused by the noise data.(2) This paper uses volume rendering, glyph rendering and streamline tracking to visualize canine's myocardium fiber based on DT-MRI data and calculates the DT-MRI data's anisotropy and direction and builds the canine's myocardium fiber and reconstruct the 3D structure in the macroscopic forms.(3) According to the region of interest's largest eigenvector and anisotropy, this paper render a little fiber, so it can analyse and study the canine's myocardium fiber's direction.(4) This paper carries out a detailed requirement analysis and system design of the application of myocardium fiber visualization based on DT-MRI Data. Then,it using the VTK toolkit to implement the system of myocardium fiber visualization and analysis based on DT-MRI dara. This system provide a strong tool for the reseach of heart structure. |
