With the rapid development of the computer network technologies and multimedia technology, the varied digital information brings great convenience to people for their study and work, but also promotes social development. However it causes a lot of information security problems .Information hiding technology is an important information safty one. In recent years, It's appearance and development have widely been concerned, Information hiding technology has widely been researched and applicated especially in data security, copyrigt protection, data non-repudiation and data integrity. But in some important information hiding application fields, the original data must be restored after it is extracted . Reversible information hiding technology not only effectively prevents the destruction of the original data but also hides the information. As an important part of information hiding, Reversible information hiding technology can obtain the whole hiding message from the information carrier, and also gain a complete copy of the original vector. In this paper the main work are arranged as followings:(1) This paper selects a significative binary image as the hiding information. the hiding information is pre-processed. It is a binary sequence based on a significative image which is modulated by chaotic sequences. The sequences are of large quantity, correlationless random and deterministication, they can prevent the attack to the system and enhance the security of the system.(2) This thesis analyses the schemes about how to embed the reversible information to the color images. According to the human visible system properties and the principle of correlation of color compontents, the algorithm splits the original image to some blocks, embedding two bits imformation into every block. The paper uses the key and average of green compontents to choose the position of hiding information in the image block, As a result, the scheme assures very good security for the hidden information. (3) The hidden information can be extracted without the original marked image. It implements the blind detection functions and protects the security of the original image.The experiments results show that the algorithm can assure good security and good imperceptibility for the hidden information image. The extracted information image is the same as the original one, the scheme is especially suit for exact image authentication.
