As the rapid development of society, automotive has become the most potential transport of transport industry, but many problems attendant,such as heavy traffic congestion, frequent traffic accidents, exhaust pollution and many other issues. In recent years, the rapid development of automotive electronic technology for the automotive industry is gradually becoming a new force development, and formed a great economic effect. The car running remote monitoring and fault analysis system is a hot topic China's current development and application of road traffic.This article is presented in this background.Car running remote monitoring and fault analysis system development and research on the typical car engine fault analysis to avoid all the traffic problems caused by the car failure. This article described as the selection of RBF neural network analysis of the causes, then demonstrated the advantages of this method based on contrast the RBF neural network and BP neural network and contrast the two simulation experiments. The article preliminary design the software of an engine fault analysis system, MATLAB neural network toolbox used for data processing and analysis,use the corresponding exhaust emissions when gasoline engine generate three level of lost fire in no load and different speed as the original data. The development of the system software program is used by Microsoft's VisualBasic6.0 software, and through its new interface technology - ADO to access the database.Finally, The engine failure analysis system software is designed successfully.This research work adapt to the current development trend of automobile electronic technology and has some practical value.
