WSN (wireless sensor networks) technology which combines modern sensor technology, MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanism System),embedded system, distributed information processing, and network communication is a new technology. It can be widely used in military, industry, environment monitoring, and medical treatment. The node localization is a key technology in sensor networks. Existing research has focused on the location in static sensor networks. With the promotion of the application, the mobile sensor networks is the inevitable trend of the development of sensor networks. And in the mobile sensor networks, the random mobility of sensor nodes brings new challenges to localization techniques. This paper researched the localization algorithms in mobile sensor networks. The main job is as follows:(1)This paper introduces the basic theory of the node localization in mobile sensor networks. The existing state of research on localization algorithms in mobile sensor networks is also introduced. The classic Monte Carlo localization (MCL)has a full description in this paper.(2)A range-based Monte Carlo localization method is proposed for the localization problem in mobile sensor networks. This method uses one-hop and two-hop anchor nodes'position and range-based information to help localization. This method resolves the problem brought by the nodes'different transmission range . This method has good performance when the network has litter anchor nodes and it's range technology is poor.(3)An angle-based weighted Monte Carlo localization method is proposed. This method adopt the one-hop anchors and two-hop anchors to construct the sample region. And every sample has a weigth which is decided by it's influence on the node's final estimate positon. Tthe localization method also resolves the the problem brought by the nodes'different transmission range. The negative influence brough by nodes'move is controlled well. Finally, we summarize the work done by this paper, point out the future research of this paper.
