Nowadays, people's requirements of communication quality,such as communication distance, speed, capacity and reliability,have been increasing. At the same time, communication technology has got a rapidly development too, compared with the RF communications, space laser communications have many significant features,such as large capacity,wide bandwidth, anti-jamming,stronger anti-intercepted capacity and higher safety and reliability,so it has a lager development potential and space,and must be one of important means of future communication.For a successful communications,we need not only a good performance communication sub-system, but also a ATP sub-system to maintain the link.In this paper four parts are emphatically studied according to the key technology and the accuracy requirement of fine tracking unit of the ATP sub-system:the selection of the beam servo mechanism of wide resonance frequency; the design of a high speed, high voltage, broadband PZT driver which is based on APEX PA93; the design of intelligent digital control unit which is based on DSP2811; the tracking accuracy of the system. At last, the performance of the whole system is tested by applying the indoor ATP simulation platform.The result shows that the tracking accuracy of communication system can be controlled within 3μrad by applying this technology.
