The Matting Technology Base On Dynamic Light Field

Matting is a technology of extracting the foreground of arbitrary shape from the image. Digital matting is important in virtual reality. Through the technology of digital matting, high-quality images prospect of rich details can be extracted, and then it can generate a strong realistic image synthesis, therefore increasing the realism of the virtual reality system.In this paper, images collection for dynamic light field in natural image matting and video matting is presented. Firstly, we studied a closed-form solution to natural image matting algorithm to be applied in the image from dynamic light field. By analysis of Normalized Cut, we found that a closed-form solution to natural image matting can get very good foreground. Then through in-depth analysis of the characteristics of image sequence and the relationship between the frames around, light field image for video matting is proposed.The experiments based on the algorithm study shows that a closed-form solution to natural image matting algorithm can not only capture satisfying foreground images in light field, but also can obtain more satisfactory results to extract a good foreground through video matting based on this algorithm.
