| Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is an effective method for fast composition analysis of a sample, which has many advantages such as no requirements for pretreatment of the sample, small amount of the material needed and support by any material state. This technology has been widely applied in remote detection, medical science and environment monitoring. This thesis presents composition analysis of poplar leaves from four typical locations in Changchun by use of fs and ns LIBS. Composition of the poplar leaves has been clarified based on the LIBS technology. Moreover, concentration of each element in the poplar leaves has been obtained through calculation with the Free Calibration model. Environmental quality of the above four locations have been compared according the LIBS results. |
