Using multi-layer dielectric structure to design the microwave filter can not only reduce the circuit size, improve circuit integration, but also through multi-layered wiring and metal belt can easily achieve coupled capacitance and inductor between layers. The paper using three-dimensional electromagnetic simulation software: HFSS studies the design of LTCC multilayer dielectric cross-coupling bandpass filter deeply. The main work and contributions in this paper including: on the base of the last session schoolmate's research on the structure of the second order coupled bandpass filter, the paper does some adjustments to get the center frequency at 2.04GHz. The paper uses two second-order bandpass filters'cascade, which achieves the up-down fourth-order cascaded band-pass filter, and through adjusting the floor area, the distance between the second-order filters and increasing the coupling capacitor achieves high performance filters; Then the port is changed the place to facilitate the practical application; Parallel cascade structures are achieved in three ways. The paper achieves high performance device through adjusting the distance between the second-order filters and increasing the coupling capacitor and compares their transport properties. The paper analysises deeply on how to achieve the cascade and how to improve the filter performance and reduce the size of the filter The conclusions of the filter cascade technology have some reference values.
