In wireless communication system, multipath fading seriously degrades the system transmission performance. Therefore, Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system is an efficient way to combat multipath fading phenomenon via space diversity and doesn't decrease spectral efficiency. However, many mobile terminals can not conveniently install multiple antennas, due to their size, power, and cost limitations. Therefore, cooperative diversity technology can share their cooperative users'antennas to create the virtual multi-antenna system. Then it can make the virtual MIMO system to exploit space diversity in a distributed way.In cooperative communication, relayed transmission is completed by the cooperation between source node and relay nodes. They all consume while transmitting the signals. Therefore, Power allocation problem, such as one of the key technologies in cooperative communication technology, which purpose is that improving the system channel capacity by reasonable power allocation. This thesis mainly researches that power allocation and channel capacity performance for cooperative tri-node system. It describes the following work:1. Combinative patterns in cooperative communication are introduced. The performances of various combinative patterns are simulated and compared.2. Allocating power of source node and system channel capacity in equal gain combinative pattern, based on fixed channel gains and Gaussian channel gains, are researched. The performances are simulated and analyzed.3. Allocating power of source node and system channel capacity in maximum rate combinative pattern are researched. The performances are simulated and analyzed.
