With the rapid development of mobile communication networks, soft switch used very extensively, the number of mobile subscribers is also growing, and the telephone traffic is increasing. These are made networks needs MSC/MSC Server's rational allocation of the capacity and it's rational allocation of the telephone traffic has set higher requirements. On the other hand, network needs to continually add nodes to meet their development. Each expansion are so forced to re-plan and re-partition location area networks, and a growing number of location update and handover to the network resources is a kind of not a small overhead. So to simplify the network expansion be emphasized, Reasonable risk-sharing in the network telephone traffic has become increasingly important, while also taking into account network resources, focusing on network security, all of which have become a serious problem for telecom operators. The thesis response to this demand, put forward a new MSC Pool technology. It not only simplifies network expansion fully integrated, rational distribution of telephone traffic characteristics, but also can optimize network resources and a complete network redundancy strategy total solution. The thesis discusses the principle of MSC Pool technology, network methods and approaches, various disaster recovery programs, and the existence of problem solving ideas and so on. At the same time for the MSC Pool group network points of the key technologies involved in-depth study and discussion. Focus on these key technologies in how to adapt to MSC Pool networking requirements, and established a network with the MSC Pool's strategy for supporting the specific implementation requirements.
