The security of network is very important, once important information is stolen, it will cause great loss to the person even to the society. There are many ways to secure the network from attack, and encryption techniques is a very effective way and used widely.Encryption techniques were studied and analyzed in this paper, and composite encryption techniques were proposed to use to ensure the safety of network. Firstly, the present situation of network safety and the research situation of encryption techniques were introduced. Then the related knowledge of symmetrical encryption techniques and asymmetrical encryption techniques were introduced. Through analyzing and comparing the two techniques and their algorithms, the advantages of the two techniques were joined, and composite encryption scheme which selected AES algorithm, ECC algorithm and MD5 algorithm was used. This scheme can not only protect the integrity of data transmission and safety of the network, but also can ensure the efficiency of data transmission. A system scheme that applied in financial system, that was, using composite encryption techniques based on AES and ECC, was proposed. This scheme gave the detailed design of the scheme, from initialization to the maintenance of the system. Also, a network communication model which can apply in the financial system was constructed. Finally, the model and the main modules' workflow as well as their algorithms were given.The traditional encryption way in financial system is to use single symmetrical encryption techniques. This makes it very difficult in the key distribution and key management. The weakness of this method lies in the key distribution. There are two ways to distribute keys, one way is to use the web, the other way is by man. The first way cannot ensure the data's security, while the second way is too time-consuming and not convenient, that is, the traditional encryption way in financial system cannot guarantee both of its security and its efficiency. Both AES algorithm and ECC algorithm are very advanced algorithms. Using composite encryption techniques based on AES and ECC can better ensure the security and efficiency of the data transimission in a network. The composite encryption technique based on AES and ECC hasn't been used in the financial system. So study above techniques and use it in the financial system, to enable it ensure the security, integrity and efficiency of the data transmission in a network, and to make the key distribution and management simple and effective, is of important significance.
