In recent years data mining have been used widely in product quality analysis, financial risk forecasting, telecommunications, molecular biology, genetic engineering research, information search and many other fields.In recent years, with the constant expansion of university teaching, the gradual standardization of teaching management, College Teaching Management faces enormous pressures. In order to adapt to the development of universities, schools have used the campus network and other resources for education informatization. The application of College Teaching Management System makes the educational administration produced a leap changes and that greatly improve the working efficiency, reduce the waste of manpower and material resources. Data mining technique used in College Educational Administration, using the analysis results to assisted teaching decision-making formed scientific guidance will help managers to make scientific decision-making, so it's a significant research.The paper made a general discussions about the concept, background and significance of the data mining, and also made a simple introduction to techniques, methods and applications of the data mining. And then made a more detailed description of the association rules mining in data mining. Explained the relevant concepts, properties of the association rules mining. Parsed a classical algorithm of association rules--the Apriori algorithm. Through the analysis of the algorithm's defects, raised some improved Apriori algorithm, and highlighted an improved Apriori algorithm. And then introduced the basic idea, theoretical basis and detailed steps of the algorithm, and took an example to illustrate the algorithm in detailed mining steps.The paper made the improved Apriori algorithm applied in Educational Administration. For example, with the teaching evaluation data of author's school, through the evaluation of teacher quality and teacher performance data mining, found the relationship between the teaching quality and teacher quality, and made a proposal for improving teaching quality based on the result of the data mining. and provided Decision-making and guidance for management departments of teaching.
