This paper bases on electrified railway single_phase rectifier drives electric locomotives as the research object, use parallel hybrid active power filter to suppress harmonic. The main work is selection of harmonic detection algorithm and system simulation analysis, the research work for electric locomotive harmonic treatment has certain reference value.By analysis of electrified railway harmonic treatment situation, establish electric locomotive simulation model, the harmonic characteristic are given when the locomotive at a certain conditions. Analysis the topological structure of active power filter, through comparing series, parallel and hybrid active filter topological characteristics, for electric locomotive as current source type harmonics source, design parallel hybrid active filter topology. System consists of active power filter (APF) by coupling transformer series passive power filter (PF) in parallel with the power supply online. Active power filter can overcome passive power filter filtering ability inadequacy, possible resonance shortcomings, and effectively suppress harmonic.In detail, this paper discuss harmonic current detection methods based on the instantaneous reactive power theory. Optimized ip-iq algorithm, using a modified harmonic current detection algorithm, and Simulation comparison of several algorithms, and get the best current detection algorithm for the model. On this basis, analyze the parallel hybrid active power filters'control mode. Comparative analysis of net side harmonic current control mode and the load side harmonic current detection control of the advantages and disadvantages, and select the detection of selected load side harmonic current for the control methods. Adopt hysteresis current control to generated the trigger signals, and design of active power filter DC-side voltage controller.This dissertation use Matlab/Simulink for system simulation verified, Before the respectively, PF and PHAPF are simulated. The result is good verify the harmonic detection algorithm and control algorithm which proposed by this paper is correct, and has a good filtering effect, meet the need of electrified railway harmonic restraint.
