In recent years, along with the rapid development of Defense science and technology, the safety of image in the transmission of becoming now battlefield concerns. For image encryption by more and more people's attention. Chaos encryption is used in image encryption field a safer way.The chaos based cryptographic algorithms have suggested some new and efficient ways to develop secure image encryption techniques. This paper presents an efficient chaos-based Lorenz system for image cryptosystems. The initial condition for the chaotic Lorenz system and parameter sensitivity of change,wihch made Lorenz system can provide high-level security.and the new encryption method that designed according to Lorenz chaos system's characteristic that changed the password every time makes the encryption image more safe in the transmission. Several test images are used for inspecting the validity of the Lorenz system. The results of several experimental, key space analysis, statistical analysis, and key sensitivity tests show that the Lorenz system provides an efficient and secure way for real-time image encryption and transmission from the cryptographic viewpoint.
