The Design And Develop Of Learningactivity Support System In E-Learning

E-Learning is an important learning way of carrying out educational informatization. By means of certain online learning support system, it emerges in front of learners with rich curriculum resources. With the rapid development of modern information technology, the role E-learning has played is pretty obvious. It enables people to log on to online learning system through personal computer, have access to learning resources and communicate with learners from other places with almost zero distance. Currently, most of E-Learning is centered on either resources or contents, instead of learning activity. Research indicates, though E-Learning centered on resources has its advantages in comparison with traditional teaching and the form of learning resources is various, it is lack of support for learners and their learning activities, causing learners lost in the sea of Internet easily and eventually failing to fulfil the learning goal. Visibly, if rendered some appropriate support and service, E-Learning helps to improve learning efficiency and accomplish learning assignments. Therefore, it is of theoretical significance and application value to design and develop an online learning system supporting E-Learning activities.The thesis aims to design and develop learning activity support system in E-Learning through the following research methods:literature analytic method, systematic analytic method, Case Study Methodology and Object-oriented design method. It focuses on four aspests as follows:(1) Research bases of learning activity support system in E-Learning. In this section, some relevant concepts of systematic study are demonstrated. On the basis of related case study, relevant theoretical bases and technical bases concerning system research are summarized.(2) Analysis of learning activity support system in E-Learning. Under the guidance of cognitive theory,constructivism and software design theory, the author constructs the learning activity support model based on E-Learning.(3) Design of learning activity support system in E-Learning. In this part, the paper is unfolded from five aspects:system design principles, architecture design, detailed design, database design and implementation of design. (4) Implementation of learning activity support system in E-Learning.Based on system design methods summed up in the thesis, development of the system is finished.In the end, the Research results, innovations and limitations of the system are summarized and the development trend of support system in E-Learning is prospected.
