Switched system, an important hybrid system, is composed of a set of continuous-time or discrete-time subsystems and the switching rule acted among subsystems. Recently, the problem of neutral systems with time-delay has been concerned and is an important topic in control area, theoretical basic and means for dealing with practice have been obtained. While time delay is commonly encountered in real systems, and its existence is frequently a source of instability and poor performance. In this paper, the problem of stability for switched neutral system with time delay is deeply investigated and analyzed on the ground of the summarization of the Lyaounov stability method. The main works are as following:Firstly, the problem of stability for a class of switched neutral systems with discrete and distributed delay is investigated based on arbitrary switching rule. The sufficient conditions are derived by using Lyapunov function technique.Secondly, we have studied H∝property of switched neutral systems with discrete and distributed delay. In the end, we have studied the problem of stability for neutral systems with discrete and distributed delay in a critical case.
