The Research On The Culture Quality Education Of Physical Major Students In China

A long time ago, as a result of the influence by the Soviet Union's educational ideology, our educationist stress too much attention on developing the specialized education and ignoring to cultivate a real "person". It cause the physical Major students have a low level culture quality,spiritual ballast and acting from selfish motives. So how to heighten the culture quality of physical Major students is a worth studying research.This paper analyze the teaching objective,curriculum model and current situation of the culture quality of physical Major students in12different university by using the document researching method,questionnaire investigating method,comparing method,mathematics statistical method and logical statistical method.In the meantime by enumerate the general education in Harvard University,Stanford University and UCLA, it reveal the factors of influencing the culture quality of physical Major students and make some proposals for increasing the culture quality of physical Major students.By the investigation, the culture quality of physical Major students in China has been in a low level. It appears:lacking of literary knowledge,historical knowledge,natural science knowledge and philosophical knowledge, lower appreciating ability in music,art and cinema aesthetics, confusion in values and spiritual ballast. The factors of influencing the culture quality of physical Major students are erroneous educational ideology, irrational curriculum models, low quality of the enrolment students and wrong concepts among teachers and students. Thus in order to improve the culture quality of physical Major students,we should has the proper educational ideology, a rigid entrance examination, changing teacher,student and recruitment unit's wrong ideal and to use the experience of developed countries'general education for reference.The key point of this paper is to carry out the all-round culture quality education among the physical Major students. It has a far-reaching influence on meeting the needs of the country and developing the harmonious society.
