A feature increasingly obvious and form increasingly sophisticated consumer society has arrived, this can be deeply felt in many aspects. Mature market economy, vigorously developing tertiary industry, rich and diversified production, strong consumer demand and rising consumption levels, emergence of new concepts and patterns of consumption, which all mark we are moving into a new social formation, the consumer society. And the growing middle class in their cultural identity and spiritual needs, is to promote a fashion wind blows every corner of the society. At the same time the advent and the rapid development of the Internet had a profound impact on people's consumption patterns. Network consumption has provided the most broad and convenient channels to various fashion consumer desires,such as "symbol consumption".Fashion icon online, a new group, created by consumer culture in the Internet age. This article from the start with defining the concept of fashion icon online, analyzes four backgrounds including social atmosphere, cultural demands, media support and market coordination which support fashion icon online and its prosperity. In order to lay the foundation for exposition of this article, the third chapter does a full grooming for communication paradigms of fashion icon online, by analyzing the communications content and transmission way of fashion icon online and illustrating the cause of the fashion icon online been approved by women. Then the next chapter summarizes the process in which fashion icon online impact on women consumption, and affirms the promotion for female self-development by fashion icon online. Meanwhile, in this part also dissects the juncture and status that have the fashion icon show and fortress culture melted together.Then the author found that, some contradictions of contemporary women self-construction and self development have been reflected in the phenomenon of fashion icon online. And finally, the article Affirms the positive significance in the phenomenon of fashion icon online at the end. However, the author hope that women will not only be in the attention on beauty outside, enjoy the life, but also enrich their connotation, work hard to create the significance of life. As a result, beautiful women inside and outside in the new era should be in the efforts to adapt to the society that alters from day to day, and at the same time, do not be overcritical to their own to return to their original nature.
