The development of economy of the Beibu Gulf has provided a broad platform of employment for Guangxi universities' master students. On the one hand, the enterprise in this area needs master students for working. On the other hand, there are difficulties when the student of Guangxi universities seeking the jobs. The reasons that lead to this paradoxical phenomenon are the increase enrollment, the financial crisis, university education mode, imperfect labor market etc, and various reasons to force the effect. The crucial factor of causing the difficult employment among the master students is the labor market segmentation of Beibu Gulf area. Through studying the theory of the labor market segmentation, and analyzing the operation condition of Beibu Gulf area labor market. This paper obtains that the Beibu Gulf area exists multiple division. To the influence which the labor market segmentation of gulf region effects the master students of Guangxi universities for employing as the central proposition.Base on the systematic summary of relevant literature, this paper will discuss the characteristic of employment's behavior of Guangxi universities' master students under the background of the labor market segmentation in Beibu Gulf area by studying the employment preferences and job searching.Although the employing units in Beibu Gulf area demand lots of master students for working who are active searching jobs from Guangxi universities, the situation of the employment is still serious. And the main reason which causing the structural differences is the master students have obvious preference to the major labor market which the position is limited under the background of the labor market segmentation in Beibu Gulf area. Therefore, the unemployment of master students mainly perform for the structural unemployment. Meanwhile, institutional labor market segmentation also constrained the development of our country employment support policy. In order to solve the problems during the process of Guangxi universities' master students seeking the jobs,we need to construct the Beibu Gulf area unified labor market, to set up the senior personnel public employment service system and accelerate the informatization of the Beibu Gulf area labor market, to break the monopolies, to deepen the reform of household management system in gulf region, to up the ability of absorbing employment promotion during Beibu Gulf area to the non-public economy unit, to offer compensatory wages, to complete the work of the cultivation of master students, to improve their comprehensive quality,etc. |
