The companion communication ability of children is one of the important contents of social development, it is beneficial for partner relationship between children, and also is a good foundation for the development of children interpersonal skills. Understand the development of children's companion communication ability is good for children's social development, is helpful for parents and teachers organize and conduct the reasonable education.On the basis of past study about peer intercommunion, the author divided the communication ability of children into social initiative, pro-social, language and non-language communication ability and social obstacles, and proceeded a comparative study of the development of the children's peer communication ability between China and Cambodia using questionnaire, interviews and observation from a cross-cultural perspective, explored the influence of children's companion communication ability and put forward education suggestions to promote the development of Chinese children.The author respectively selected2kindergartens from China and Cambodia, then randomly selected four, five and six years old children each20within each kindergarten, sended teacher evaluation questionnaire and parents influence factor questionnaire to teachers and parents. Researcher drew the following conclusion after data collection and analysis.1. There is some common development trend of children's peer intercommunion ability between China and Cambodia.(1) The peer communication competence of China and Cambodia children develops gradually as they grow older. In the three aspects of the development of companion communication ability, the speed of children's development shows same age characteristics. Specifically,5years old children's pro-social development is the fastest,6years old children's language and non-language communication ability is the fastest, social obstacles is least. The reason causing the results may be with children's cognitive development level and social interaction experience.(2) Children peer communication ability between two countries exists gender difference, and girls develop better than boys. After analyzed, author found that caused this result reason may with children's communication atmosphere and gender roles on identity.2. There is also some differences of children's peer intercommunion ability between China and Cambodia.(1) In initiative association, the development critical period of is six years old, Cambodia children is five years old.(2) The companion communication ability of children between China and Cambodia is different, companion communication ability of Cambodian children is better than Chinese children on the whole. Specifically, Cambodian children development level of social initiative and pro-social is higher than Chinese children, obstacles to association is less than Chinese children. The reason may include open social communication environment, loose kindergarten communication environment and rich family communication environment.In conclusion, the author proposed suggestion to promote the peer communication ability development of children, including grasp critical period of development, catch optimization kindergarten environment, to establish the rich and free family communication environment.
