Situation Tests Exploration Research On Teacher's Teaching Ability Of Primary School

Teacher's teaching ability is important for education quality .Now, our country is making standard of teachers ability in primary and middle school. As the policy carrying on, what we need is technology of testing. So, study of tests is much needed.2007, a study of America showed that the teacher's tests should use teaching situations and offer the options which reflect the nature of the decision.This study uses empirical research methods, first, determine the ability to test, and choose the 6 real class situations, we work out every questions and testing purposes.This study follow this rule" choose tests-test-modify-prove ", first, the purpose of the first is modifying. The purpose of the second is proving. We divide teachers from two parts. We assume the results of high-level are better than low-level. Finally, I hope to get several successful tests, and the features of successful tests.The study shows:First, it is well to test teaching ability by situation tests. A good test has distinguished between degrees. It can divide teachers form high-level and low-level to some extent (excluding teachers between the two levels).Second, this test described as words is not useful when lesson with too many actions. The key of video test is to make sure teachers are in the situation. Making sure test is well understood is prerequisite. When words are not well understood, video tests can be used, repeated tests are necessary.Third, good tests have these features: proper testing goals; clear structure; common stuffs; good questions; easy to understand by teachers; with distinctiveness to some extent. Finally, it shows that the basic step is "make sure what ability to test-choose right situations-assure the questions-testing-modifying-testing". This step is relatively reasonable.Situation tests can be used in testing teaching ability, and not be used twice for one.
