A Study On The Early Warnning Mechanism Of Internet Public Sentiment To Colledge

In the 21st century, colleges and universities, due to the social transformation and the reformation of the higher education system, are exposed to various negative impacts brought by the diversification of social thought. And some emergent incidents happen occasionally in the campuses. These emergencies, once become the press focus, can easily turn into the public concern on the internet, and soon constitute the main content of internet public sentiment on these colleges and universities, even exert great influence on the stability our country and society. Therefore, the effective prevention and the scientific guidance of the internet public sentiment, together with the maximum limit of casualties and losses, remain the important issue in campuses need to be solved. This paper, starts with the analysis on the characteristics, the causes, and the functions of these emergencies and internet public sentiments, put forward the suggestion that the support system to the early warning mechanism of internet public sentiment should be established so as to prevent the occurrence of the emergencies and to implement the scientific management of the internet public sentiment.
