Education is the foundation of a nation. In the long history of China, the educational form has been updating along with the development of society. Educators and educational institutions have been exploring the development of educational mode suitable for times. After the founding of new China, the concept of education has been a qualitative leap, with technology advancements and social developments, the definition of talents given by the country has a new meaning, education reform is imperative in this way. With the new round of curriculum reform, the concept of efficient classroom is put forward and recognized by the education sector and the general concern immediately. Create an efficient classroom has become a symbol and focus of this reform.Efficient teaching is short for high efficiency classroom. From the literal interpretation, it is the significant effect of education and teaching which achieves a very high goal of classroom teaching. The contents include efficient process rate, efficient quality and high effectiveness in a lesson.Efficient classroom is a contrast to the inefficient and ineffective classroom, efficient classroom is the highest level of classroom teaching, the key word is "efficient". In the efficient classroom, the teacher will lead all students to actively participate in classroom activities to fully absorb and digest what they learn while achieving efficient goals and qualities of teaching tasks.This thesis explains why to create efficient classroom and its significance from the start what is efficient teaching. By analyzing traditional education and teaching modes, the writer points out the status and problems of secondary language teaching, then discusses how to create an efficient classroom intensively and analyzes the existing evaluation mechanisms, pointing out its shortcomings and giving reasonable suggestions. Finally, the thesis provides teaching realities and reflections for reference.
