Investigation Of Present Situation And Study Of Statistics On S Ports Dance Teachers Team In Some Colleges In Jiangsu Province

Sports dance project started very late. It was introduced into China during 1980s and had a very hard beginning in development. Through 30 years development, sports dance has developed well in China and has become one of the main forces in sports dance teaching in the world. The sports dance learners focus on it's development speed and scale. By the study methods of Documentation information,Questionnaire survey,Data statistics,Experts interview and Logical analysis,the writer has done a comprehensive investigation and analysis on present status of college sports dance teachers team in Jiangsu Province, and found out the advantages and disadvantages of those teachers team as well as specific reasons result in these problems. The writer has proposed corresponding statistics on these problems and provided references on college sports dance teachers team's construction.The followings are the results:1. The team structure of sports dance teachers in colleges in Jiangsu has a youth trend, which is helpful to the continuing development of sports dance teaching and education. But most teachers have short teaching years, and 75% of the teachers are converted from Gymnastics,Art Gymnastics and other majors to the sports dance teaching. Only have short course training, they don't master the sports dance theory system, so their major teaching levels are comparatively low.2. The levels of the referee and sports level sports of dance teachers in colleges in Jiangsu are low, and even 50% of the teachers don't have the sports technology level. The percentage of the teachers'gender unbalanced and the percentage of higher education and higher profession level are low, which have constraints on the development of sports dance teachers team construction.3. Most teachers have favorable comments on their teaching abilities and innovation abilities. The students are satisfied with the teachers,and the college leaders give positive attitudes to the teachers. Teachers can understand the syllabus and carry it out well. However,the teachers didn't do well in teaching preparation.4. 60% of the teachers take the training jobs, but only some of them bring the team to take part in the competitions, so they are short of experience. And most of the teachers only finish the teaching assignments. The lack of sports dance competition is the main problem.5. The teacher's research levels are various and a few people have high levels. Inner reasons influencing the research are negative subjective,benefits chasing and weak research consciousness. Outer reasons are shortage of research funds,lack of equipments and heavy teaching assignments.6. Most of the teachers have traditional education knowledge, strong one-sidedness on continuation education. They still remain on the increasing of the teaching ability but can realize the importance of continuation education. The purpose of continuation education is rational and high standardized, with various methods of education. Before-job training, course improving and advanced study for assistant are the main three methods. Heavy teaching assignments, shortage of educational funds and inefficiency of training are the main factors to influence the continuation education.7. Most of the teachers gather sports information by various channels and methods, and utilize the modern internet to get more sports information.The statistics are:1. To optimize the teachers team structure and to improve it's total level.2. To enhance the teacher's research level and to improve the teaching quality.3. To pay more attention to the after-job training and teacher's improvement.4. To increase the sports dance competitions between the colleges and build campus culture atmosphere.5. To standardize the sports dance teaching system and complete the contents of sports dance courses.
