Consciousness of mathematics of middle school students in mathematics education plays a role to find the questions, to apply mathematics knowledge to solve the real questions, to cultivate students'awareness which the mathematics can be used to solve a large number of questions in real life. Consciousness of mathematics contributes to loving mathematics and learning mathematics well. Consciousness of mathematics is the intrinsic motivation to further study the mathematics. Knowledge of mathematics is the foundation to study physics, chemistry and other disciplines. Cultivating students' consciousness of Mathematics also has some help to study these subjects.There are a lot of standard mathematical problems learned by students in the current middle school mathematics textbooks, which can help students to grasp mathematics knowledge and to improve the ability of students. Students learning knowledge from textbooks of mathematical may form a set that learning mathematics is to solve the existing problems, and can not understand the application or the true value of Mathematics. With the high school curriculum reform continued to deepen, the interest in mathematics was referred to a very important height, which has become particularly important in mathematics teaching content.In order to cultivate students'consciousness of mathematics, the new reform of current curriculum put forward higher requirements training students to integrate theory with practice, to use the knowledge of mathematics to practice analysis, to enable students to understand mathematics knowledge and the reality of life in close contact, to enhance the application of the mathematical confidence, in order to realize mathematics application value, form mathematics consciousness, develop good habits of learning mathematics. In view of the new curriculum reform put forward to cultivate the students' consciousness of mathematics, is a math teacher should seriously consider the issue, is worth further research problems.At present, in the research on students'mathematics consciousness, from the point of view of theory research is more, but in the new situation of our country, according to the requirements of the new curriculum reform, linking theory with practice research, especially for the work in the first line of the junior middle school mathematics teachers in the combination of theory and practice of relatively few studies. This paper aims at the current our country mathematics for junior middle school students lack awareness of mathematical education present situation and characteristics of junior high school students, should have the consciousness of mathematics were initially defined, explained the junior middle school students'sense of mathematics theory and realistic value; papers from the curriculum, teaching content, teacher quality, teaching methods and other aspects. Analysis, put forward to stimulate interest in learning, attention to the experience of success and the conscious cultivation of junior school students'mathematics consciousness, the way and the method, and the method of mathematical education throughout the whole process, so that students like mathematics, consciously cultivate the use of mathematical thought, viewpoint and method to observe things to explain the phenomenon of habits, achieve education purpose.
