| Physical culture is in the process created social practice, is a reflection of human wisdom and creativity. Different geographical environments and different cultural regions, different national culture, sports culture have different effects and impact. Sports culture will naturally be given a national character. Basketball culture as part of an organic whole culture, both with the overall culture of the nation's basic features, but also has its own uniqueness, study and master the basic characteristics of basketball culture, comprehensive and accurate understanding of our culture, society as a whole has an extremely important significance.This paper intends to put basketball in Sociology, from a cultural perspective, the U.S. basketball, the sports culture of a detailed analysis to the study of American basketball, the American people more in-depth understanding of the overall cultural and their national and social, providing a new perspective.This thesis is divided into a total of six chapters, the first chapter is the introduction. The second chapter, the author made some important related concepts is defined, they are culture, sports culture and the basketball culture, and discussed the relationship between the three. Chapter to Chapter VI of the content is the key part of this thesis. In the third chapter, the author first reviews the origins of the culture of basketball; then explore the modern history of basketball in the United States, including: Introduction to the process of establishing the United States Basketball Association; American basketball career transition process and the United States Basketball League system. In the fourth chapter, the author analyzes the impact of American culture in basketball: creating inclusive multicultural diversity of American basketball; individualism to the individual basketball players fighting spirit and personal values are fully affirmed; innovative spirit to guide the global trend, a basketball in the innovation and development; Mass Media towards the globalization of basketball. In the fifth chapter, the author focuses on the American basketball culture, the four main features: the ethnic nature of American basketball - the best show on African American sports events they have entered the rule; the openness of American basketball - the U.S. Open Basketball to the premise of globalization; the regional characteristics of American basketball - the window to show the characteristics of the U.S. basketball; is the class character of American basketball - the working class is a natural part of American basketball.In the sixth chapter, the author discussed the U.S. basketball career crisis caused by the commercialization of compounds, and analysis of its causes. In this last chapter, the author made a summary of the discussion, and mentioned some Chinese basketball advice. |
